When the Chips are Down
If there are problems at the workplace or the career growth is slow or stagnant, keep one light on near the main door of the office throughout the night. This will certainly brighten up things at the workplace, say Vaastu experts. Light is yang energy, which speeds up things in the life of an individual Come Diwali, besides the festive decorations, people make sure that they are doing everything right to welcome wealth, health and prosperity into their homes. Follow these simple vaastu tips to ensure the added bonus of a clean and sparkling home!

Acquire an Aquarium
Fish aquariums are wonderful for wealth creation. Keep the water clean and aerated and choose active, lively and healthy fish. Also, make sure that they are strong swimmers as their constant movement keeps wealth energy flowing into your life. Moreover, an attractive aquarium will have a soothing effect on the boss who will become favourably disposed towards you.

Windows of Opportunity
It's amazing what clean windows can do for the balance sheet. Dirty glass restricts money flow. Hanging crystals in the window activates energy. When the sunlight hits them, they produce the most amazing rainbows. Therefore, choose a window that gets direct sunlight and will throw up a multitude of openings for a smooth career growth.

Light at the End of the Corridor
According to Vaastu Shaastra the entrance to the office should be at the end of a long corridor so that positive energy can flow through it. However, if you find yourself tempted to take financial risks that means that the energy flowing through the corridor is very strong. This can be softened placing a plant halfway down the corridor.

  • In the office, Goddess Lakshm or Lord Ganesha's picture or statutte should never be placed at the back of the owner's seat.
  • As per Vaastu, the boss should sit in south-west facing east or north.
  • He or she should never sit facing South
  • According to Vaastu a rectangle desk or work station is considered the most auspicious.
  • For bests results in business or profesion, there must always be a solid wall behind the seat.
  • Electronic equipment like photocopiers should be in a room in the south-east direction of the office.
  • Vaastu says that for long-term prosperity, the pantry should be in north-west direction of the office.
  • Cashiers should always sit in the North side of the office. The North is the abode of Kuber, the God of wealth.
  • Almirahs and racks should be placed in the Southwest direct5ion of the office for best result.
  • The shape of an employee's office room is very important. It should either be square or horizontal.
  • Flowers are God's special gift. Place a flower vase in the chamber that has buds and green shoots.

Doorway to Success
Vaastu says that the front doorway of the office must be distinctive so as to attract wealth. For best results it should be ideally painted in a colour which is different from the adjoining walls. There should be no obstruction around it and it should face the North or the East.

From Failure to Success
Vaastu according to experts, has the power to turn around a failing business and transform it into a successful venture. One should place decorative boulders or pebbles at the side of the entrance of the office. This will increase the movement of financial energy.

Enter the Fragrance
The entrance should be tastefully decorated and must have a soothing fragrance. The effect can be further heightened if there is soothing music playing in the background. Light the entrance well and keep it clear and clean. Clutter, muck, garbage and even useless furniture at the entrance will keep away customers, friends and profits.

Mature Entry
The entrance should have a well finished door that looks mature and respectable. This indicates stability and promises better business. An old and shabby door which does not open freely is not good for business. Hanging a wind chime in the entrance and installing a statue of Lord Ganesha promotes positive energy, reduces work related tension, helps to keep away obstacles and intruders and brings in repeat customers.

Seating Arrangement
For a successful job or business, one should never sit directly under a beam. If the work desk needs to be shifted, do so. This also applies to computers and other office equipment. Ideally, electronic equipment should be at the Southeast corner of the room.

Avoid Direct Sunrays
Avoid too much sunlight in the office room. Though the sun's rays mean plenty of light, they also bring in the heat with all its harmful energies. This can have a deleterious effect on your work and can make you lethargic. If there's a choice, avoid a room that faces the West. Though Vaastu Shaastra cannot combat recession, it can certainly provide guidance to people who want to improve their career graph or financial situation. Just follow the tips to become a success at whatever work you are pursuing.
